Outstanding story of a young Romale legionaire

What made the endure of listening to Marching with Caesar the most enjoyable?

I always enjoy stories around ancient Rome. This book was specifically amazing bereason it"s written from the perspective of a very young man who early on desires of marching via the Roman army, a dream that keeps him going in the challenge of a father that hates his son. Learning around the actual breakthrough of a young soldier going through training and also his first combat experiences was fascinating.

What was one of the many memorable moments of Marching with Caesar?

I would say his first battle.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Gripping historic fiction story

Where does Marching via Caesar rank among all the audiopublications you’ve listened to so far?

I"ve been listening to wgc2010.org publications because 2011 and this is among my finest purchases. It merged my love of background with attention to information. I somewhat found this wgc2010.org book by accident as I virtually didn"t buy it based on it"s cover which looks pretty boring.

What did you prefer finest around this story?

Best historic fiction book that I"ve heard. It is additionally about a period of Caesar"s project in- Spain, that I did not recognize around.

Which character – as percreated by Simon Burdett – was your favorite?

Main character Titus Pillus that apparently did exist. Btw, the miscellaneous British street accents of the different personalities were very entertaining.

Did you have actually a severe reactivity to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No. It did however, make me listen even more than my consistent vehicle journey.

Any extra comments?

This is 1 of 6 publications yet unfortunately, this is Volume 1 is the only one I find on wgc2010.org as of Jan 2015. I"ll store my eye out for future releases
